National Programs

Bringing Together Students from Across Our Local Areas

Our National Programs provide space for independent school students to ponder life’s big questions while enjoying experiences with their peers from our eleven FOCUS areas.

ABOUT

Our National Programs

Each year, nearly 700 middle and high school students attend our National Programs. Events are held at our property on Martha’s Vineyard, other retreat centers, and college campuses, and serve students from our eleven local areas and beyond. Students enjoy fun games, good food, and new friendships, along with conversations and teaching about the Christian faith and life’s most important questions.

Summer Programs

FOCUS hosts numerous programs on our property on Lambert’s Cove located in the town of West Tisbury on Martha’s Vineyard. Each summer, nearly 600 students visit the property for a weekend, a week, or sometimes even longer. Additionally, FOCUS hosts several offsite opportunities, including adventure, service, and leadership development programs. FOCUS offers a variety of different programs designed for students finishing grades 6-12. Summer programs begin in early June and run through late August.
NATIONAL PROGRAMS

Fall Weekends

Meet with old friends and make new ones! Students in grades 9-12 from all areas are invited to attend one of our Fall Weekend programs. The weekends are a mixture of fun games, thoughtful talks, great music, and down-time spent with FOCUS friends.
